Unity Technologies

Over nine years at Unity Technologies I grew from an individual contributor to Chief Technical Editor, and helped scale the documentation team from 4 to 60 writers. I built the writing guidance and quality standards that still define Unity's documentation today, working across technical documentation, training videos, blog posts, and internal communications. I also mentored junior writers and produced company-wide training materials on technical communication.

APCOA UK

Engaged as a technical writer and documentation strategist to build internal developer documentation from scratch, to support the onboarding of new software engineers.

I delivered an MkDocs-based site on Azure DevOps, covering three major internal systems. Work included restructuring reference documentation for a code generation system and its modifier files, creating onboarding tutorials, standardising C4 architecture diagrams in Mermaid, documenting website architecture, and bringing runbook standards into line across EU and UK deployments. I also built an AI prompt set anchored to Good Docs Project templates, so that the team could sustain documentation quality after the contract ended.

Now Prototype It

Documentation and content work on a GOV.UK Prototype Kit fork, covering technical documentation, web copy, and trade show banner copy. This work spanned both developer-facing material and outward-facing messaging, translating a technical prototyping tool into content that worked for engineering and non-technical audiences alike.
